Criteria of Admissibility

The Prize is awarded to any candidate, individual or organization or association, distinguished by a humanitarian initiative, action and/or commitment, an artistic or cultural work, or an intellectual production having a humanitarian dimension and an worldwide influence.

These actions or works must have contributed to the dissemination, consolidation and promotion of the culture, values and concepts of entente, cooperation and solidarity among peoples, particularly in the field of sustainable human development, social promotion and the fight against inequalities and poverty.

The Prize may not be awarded more than once to the same person and in the same field. A candidate may not himself present his own candidacy.
